CENTRE STREET EAST BETWEEN BEAVERTON ROAD AND MARALIM ROAD
This notice serves to advise you that a portion of Centre Street East (between Beaverton Road and Maralim Road), will be temporarily closed commencing April 28, 2009 to May 1, 2009 in order to facilitate the two watermain crossings.
The work is being undertaken by the Town's contractor, Mar-King Construction Company Limited. You will receive advance notification of the minor disruption in water service that will occasionally be necessary during this period.
During the road closure, access to local properties will be maintained. Local residents will also be able to have continued access to Beaverton Road and Maralim Road. However, York Transit bus service will be re-routed around the closure during this timeframe. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
The Town's Representative, Mr. John Croxall, SRM Associates (A Member of The Sernas Group Inc.), will be on-site to review the work in progress and can be reached at 905-686-6402, or his cell phone number 905-718-5799, should any problems arise with regard to the road closure.
Furthermore, there may be some disruption of postal delivery during the road closure. Please contact your local post office in this regard.
