As part of the Town of Richmond Hill's ongoing commitment to maintaining a high quality road network, the Town is currently considering future road improvements to Alverna Road between Taylor Mills Drive South and Becker Road, Bonita Crescent and Felix Road. R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited has been retained by the Town to undertake the preliminary design of the future road improvements. This notice is being provided to advise you that survey crews will be undertaking a topographic survey in your area over the next month in order to collect all necessary surface detail and elevations required for production of a current base plan for use in conjunction with potential design work.
In order to complete the survey, surveyors will need to briefly enter upon your property to locate existing features and collect elevations beyond the municipal road allowance. This action is necessary to ensure that all adjacent property surface details are accurately identified on the base plan and subsequently given due consideration during any more detailed design process that may ultimately result. All survey staff members carry photo identification that can be produced upon request.
At the present time the proposed improvements are simply being contemplated. The information is being collected to provide a base plan of existing features and so develop a design for the noted improvements. You will be notified further in the future as the work is formalized.
