PIONEER PARK REHABILITATION
This notice serves to advise you that the rehabilitation of Pioneer Park, Contract TE 08-09, is scheduled to commence on the week of September 7, 2009 with the contractor installing erosion and sediment controls, locating their site office followed by mobilizing their workforce and equipment. The first tasks planned will be to install the perimeter fence and locate signage.
The work is being undertaken by the Town's contractor, R&M Construction, and will include the reconstruction of the existing stormwater management pond with a new facility. The work includes tree removals and transplanting; sanitary sewer replacement; earth and alluvium excavation; storm sewers, structures and headwalls including slide gates and stop logs; placement of rip rap/rock protection on the pond and channel slopes; and, landscaping and site restoration including asphalt pathways and armour stone walls. The contractor intends on working Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Due to safety concerns, the walkway from Elston Court will be closed for the duration of the project. You will receive advance notification of any disruption during the course of construction.
