WHY?
Each year, the Town of Richmond Hill hosts a Christmas celebration for the
seniors in the community. For the first time, this sold-out show will take
place at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts to showcase the
new facility to those who have not yet had a chance to experience it.
The Brian Rose Little Big Band is an excellent and popular 8-11 piece group packed with talent. Brian's unique blend of listenable, danceable music - jazz, swing, jive, pop, ballroom, latin, and R&B - along with Brian's smooth MC style, the event will surely be an evening to remember!
Although this event is sold out, there are still McConaghy Seniors' Centre
events coming up that have tickets available. On December 11, the Seniors'
Centre is hosting a Christmas Luncheon featuring a traditional turkey dinner
for $20 for members and $25 for non-members (must pre-order your tickets).
And on December 13 there is the McConaghy Christmas Choir Concert at 2
p.m. open to all ages for only $5 (tickets can be bought at the door).
